Seth Raddue is a loan officer and owner of Tristar Finance in Kirkland, Washington. Seth has been in the mortgage industry for more than 15 years and has been the owner of Tristar Finance since 2006. Although Seth is based out of Kirkland, most of his business is done on the Westside in Seattle, Bothell, Everett, and Marysville. He is a decent loan officer, but isn’t a top loan officer at Seatte Loan Officers because his company has had regulatory action against it and he is lacking in some reviews.

Seth Raddue Social Reviews

There are reviews for Seth on a variety of sites including Zillow, Redfin and Yelp. Seth also has a Linkedin and is featured in MPA. In addition to the review sites, we will also be taking into reviews for Tristar Finance because Seth is the owner. Tristar Finance websites include: the Better Business Bureau.

Although Seth is in the $150 million dollar club at the MPA, he doesn’t have many reviews online. Zillow, Yelp, and Redfin have a total of under 30 reviews. For the most part his reviews are positive, but he has a few that aren’t so positive. Two reviews on Yelp as scathing and Seth went out of his way to respond to them. He doesn’t respond to reviews on Zillow.

Seth has a fairly quiet Linkedin account with endorsements for refinance and mortgage lending. The BBB Reviews page has three views, two of which are positive and one is seriously negative. We will take this and the Yelp reviews into consideration in our ranking.

Seth Raddue Modex

The Modex profile for Seth shows that he’s a high producing loan officer. We wouldn’t be surprised if all Tristar Finance loans go through Seth. He has experience with both FHA and VA loans. He primarily lends on the Westside (although his office is in Kirkland on the Eastside). There is a clear focus on Northern King County and all of Snohomish County. Seth can work on both single family properties and condominiums.

Seth Raddue NMLS

Tristar Finance and Seth have two different profiles on the NMLS. His personal profile seems pretty clean, showing he made the move to mortgage banking back in 2001. He has no regulatory action against himself and is licensed to do business in California, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.

On the other side, the Tristar Finance NMLS profile is a little confusing. Firstly, there is a regulatory action from 2015 in Oregon. Although this action isn’t again Seth himself, it is against one of his loan officers. It also says that he has 11 loan officers working for him, but the Tristar Finance website only lists Seth as a loan officer. Searching the NMLS for “Tristar Finance” also led us to several dozen loan officers, not 11.

Seth is a large producer, but there are some questions around his business and a few of his reviews. We think that a few seriously negative reviews can cause a large impact. Overall, Seth and his company, Tristar Finance, will likely do a good job handling your mortgage needs, but be aware of their three bad reviews. (We did not have a high quality image of Seth for this review.)
